HOG hunting in LOUISIANA!

HOG hunting in LOUISIANA!

So we were mainly going out there to get the hog trap all fixed up. After we finished, we decided to take a stroll to the creek. As you can tell, it was a smart move! Shout out to Michael for the quick and clean kill. Was only about 10 yards away after we stepped it off!

    What happen to the Robertsons?
No one thinks about buck or duck comander anymore, so they dont shoot that many hogs or ducks anymore.
The need to make a combat after Trump.

Ltitle BBQ’ers like that are the best, I just love a small sow no bigger than 100 lbs, an if they’ve been on acorns even better, we do this in cent Fla.

Great video.Β  I hunt at the Bouef WMA near Columbia, La.Β  and it’s full of hogs.Β  I got a young sow last year and it was great eating.Β  However , I would suggest that you try to wear rubber gloves when cleaning a wild hog.Β Β Β  Congrats.

  27. Vaughn Hoffman on January 27, 2023 at 5:02 am

    what Caliber is that rifle…?

  28. Brandon Angle on January 27, 2023 at 5:05 am

What if I keep some and leave some? Cus I live in Texas and they are messing up farm’s so you kill as many as you can. Leave them and the pigs either see them and get worried, or eat it

  29. Hunt 'n' Gather with the Chatters on January 27, 2023 at 5:08 am

Good show boys ….enjoyed all of it … thanks !

  31. CSJ Rogerson on January 27, 2023 at 5:08 am

Not sure why you’re using rifles with scopes in this thick bush. You aint gonna see a pig at more then 30 yds. This is 30-30 open-sight and shotgun AA buck territory

  32. David Gimelli Hemme on January 27, 2023 at 5:09 am

Thank you for still being a respectable hunter.

Love the choice of caliber but not so much the beer!!!! LOL!!! Great job guys. This Pennsylvania white tail hunter wants to come down South and do some hog hunting. Who knows, maybe I will bring my old faithful Savage 99 in .243!!

  36. Doug Ruebsamen on January 27, 2023 at 5:13 am

Good video. Lots of action, good content. Not like some that talk about what they had for breakfast, how many hours they slept last night, etc.etc. I liked it!πŸ‘ I liked it alot!

  37. AJ on January 27, 2023 at 5:13 am

I’m not a huge hunter anymore, but I love your mentality of "if you shoot it just to kill, shame on you" because I won’t even shoot a squirrel in my yard if its too warm out to eat it. I even hit a deer with my car one night last year and I threw it in the trunk and cut it up when I got home since the internals werent wrecked

  38. Greg Garrot on January 27, 2023 at 5:14 am

Have you ever tried to attract hogs by soaking the corn in a 5 gallon bucket of water until it starts to stink and then spread it around

I was born and raised in Louisiana. I haven’t lived there in over 32 years. I miss it sometimes. The wife’s family is from north central part of the state, and it’s crawling with pigs. Me? I’ve from the bayous south of Houma and my area is crawling with gators (I’ve killed my share). Great video guys. People from all over the world can potentially see this clip. Just wanna let you know y’all done Louisiana proud. You boys seem like my kinda people.

  41. Ken Hall on January 27, 2023 at 5:18 am

hey guys whats the best way to prepare feral hog? whats it like compared to domesticated pork? sounds like it would be pretty good eatin. but yeah man, i think its awesome that you make sure to consume the meat you harvest.

  42. Fish Nfool on January 27, 2023 at 5:18 am

I agree πŸ’― with you there’s gonna be a lot of hungry people out there by the time election through, are Sooner

  43. Devin Gonsalves on January 27, 2023 at 5:19 am

I am gonna try and throw something like this together soon, will let you know if I catch anything

  44. Eric Wiltz on January 27, 2023 at 5:20 am

In my book the head shot, (ear) is the only way to go with hogs. Hog hunting is excellent marksmanship practice especially when you’re hunting over a feeder. No better place to settle down your nerves and get the mind, lungs, eyes and heart in tune with your trigger finger! I’m 63 now and the two of you walking out with the drag sure brought back some fond yankee memories.

At last, a man who calls it what it is. Sneaking up on stuff and shooting it.

Are they good eating n where can they be found

  49. Terry Leblanc on January 27, 2023 at 5:24 am

Enjoyed the vid.. plenty brush in Louisiana woods.. hunting skills required,, not the long range shooting many are doing these days. Recently my nephew-in-law gave me a hundred pound sow, much better than store bought pork,,, he hunts them a little different ,, with dogs, padderdale terriers!.Those little dogs are like ,, wolverines.. .. mais cher, talk about hog hunters..!
