Something I’ve wondered about for a while; Seems that there’s a lot of hog bodies scattered around after numerous hunts. Are these dead hogs left to the scavengers, retrieved after a hunt, or disposed of? Thanks.

No mention of the fact that they are non indigenous and invasive?

  17. fir00ky on January 27, 2023 at 4:52 am

I can’t agree with you on natural predators. I don’t know about texas as I am from Europe. But hogs/ wild boar have indeed natural predators. Those are coyotes, mountain lions, bears and wolves. Alligators too. Even owls and eagles prey on piglets.

Again. I am not from Texas.

I don’t know whether you’re lucky to have hogs to hunt or unlucky because of the damage they do. We in the UK don’t have anything like that except the odd Wood Pidgeon and even then on a farmers field if they let you. I love shooting and I’m a pretty good shot but I can’t do what you do with those pests like hogs and cayotes. Even so, you’re still lucky to be able to get all your own pork chops at the best prices. Yum yum.

Would you people please stop hunting my piggies. Let them live in free in the wild. I just love watching them roam about and listen to them squeal. So what if they eat a few crops of corn. Corn is piggy food anyway.

The Hog Rider is a fast ground troop with medium hit points, low damage, and the ability to jump over enemy Walls. He is unlocked at level 2 Dark Barracks.
The Hog Rider (person) is a bare-chested dark-skinned man holding a hammer. He has a Mohawk, wears a brown leather loincloth, a red belt, and a pair of leather sandals, as well as two large golden wristbands and a gold earring.
His ride is a large hog, about half his height. It has a brown leather bridle looped around its tusks, which in turn is held by the Hog Rider.
Hog Riders prioritize defensive structures above all other targets, and will bypass all other types of enemy buildings and troops while any defenses remain on the battlefield. This is true even if they are under attack by enemy Clan Castle troops, heroes or Skeleton Trap skeletons. Note that like all troops that prioritize defenses, Hog Riders do not consider the Clan Castle to be a defense regardless of whether or not it contains enemy troops, but do consider the defending Grand Warden and the activated Town Hall weapon (if any) to be defensive buildings.
Once all defenses are destroyed, Hog Riders become like any other troop with no preferred target; they will attack the nearest building to them regardless of type, and will turn and attack enemy units if they become aware of any nearby and can fight back against them.

hog meat is also way better than dear, dear meat kinda tastes like mud to be honest

  42. Wingedzephir on January 27, 2023 at 5:23 am

Well, if someone tells me he likes killing Hogs I’m not so sure he does hunting for the right purpose. There is no pleasure in killing, and there should be no, it is instead a necessity. No hunter’s intention should be to harm wildlife for fun!

  44. John Mikel on January 27, 2023 at 5:26 am

Hog is a great moving target and controlling them by hunting is a good cause. In the Hawaiian Islands, ferrel goats are a big issue, destroying native plants, birds, and causing erosion of an island paradise!

In West Tennessee, hogs can be hunted during deer season using implements legal for deer hunting.
No hunting after dark, except for raccoons & possums nor are you allowed to have night vision including thermal imaging cameras while in possession of a firearm or other hunting implement at night.
