Really nice trip. At which month did you do that trip?

  3. Keith Howes on January 27, 2023 at 4:25 am

Just booked a safari for 2023. Hope we don’t get any screaming Americans on our trip.
Did nobody tell you to stop screaming at the top of your voices?
Your dream trip, might be somebody else’s nightmare!

I am so envious of everyone who gets to visit this absolutely beautiful place. I dream of going and doing a safari, talking with the people and being mesmerized by the beauty. At the same time, I am fearful of the dangers of being an American in a foreign country.

Good looking people only date good looking people so it’s not true love it’s basically love for their looks.

perhaps beside sales links you could leave a destination hotel for a clue to others also interested in… grose how people are self oriented… in stead you should talk more about prices >hotel name , how to get there..

Dar-Es-Salam, Dar=Place or region, Es=House or place and Salam=luv and peace. Similarly to Jerusalem of the Middle-East capital of Israel and Brunei Darul Salam (Jerusalem of the eastern world.) Further reference: Dar es Salaam (House of Peace in Arabic) was founded in 1862 by Sultan Seyyid Majid of Zanzibar on the site of the village of Mzizima. Mzizima’s history dates back to the time when the Barawa people started to settle and cultivate the area around Mbwa Maji, Magogoni, Mjimwema, Gezaulole and Kibonde Maji Mbagara.

Present day Dar es Salaam’s origins have been influenced by a myriad of sultans, the Germans and the British. The city started as a fishing village in the mid 19th century, is now Tanzania’s largest city, and has become one of East Africa’s most important ports and trading centers.

With its great atmosphere, mix of African, Muslim, and South Asian influences, picturesque harbour, beaches, chaotic markets, and historic buildings, it is well worth extending your stay beyond the time between flights.

Dar es Salaam is Tanzania’s financial and political hub despite having lost its status as official capital to Dodoma in 1973.

This was fabulous! Thank you! The experiences and the lodge were wonderful BUT the BEST thing was your child-like WONDER of it all! THAT is what traveling is ALL about! πŸ’

  28. Edgar Eneral on January 27, 2023 at 4:51 am

The dangerous animal in Africa is not the hippo but mokele mbembe

  29. Anjou on January 27, 2023 at 4:53 am

I just ask, amid all the happiness, how much did you guys gen up on the behaviour of these African animals ? How fast they can move, react. How lions can smell menstruating women from miles away if they are using a dunny near a campsite; , how you equiped yourselves with safety measures. If things quickly turn ugly, how you would cope ?
Also , the most confident guides have been killed by these amazing, unforgiving beasts of the savanah. I wonder if you could do a further vlog on these issues that perhaps you encountered. Wishing you well. (A year after your post, covid 19 got in the way etc,,tho i was lucky enough not to get it). πŸ‘πŸ˜πŸŒ±πŸ…

  36. Howard Gofstein on January 27, 2023 at 5:01 am

By screaming at the beginning, when she sees an ostrich, that woman is doing EXACTLY what you’re not supposed to do on safariβ€”and what the professional guide probably told everyone NOT to do. Nice.
