Why would you have open vehicles where animals can jump into?, should be designed for better protection

  4. Ryan Hamrick on January 27, 2023 at 4:38 am

No way these animals are that stupid, they have eyes and know what’s alive and what’s not lol.

Bit like the fools who cage dive with great whites , teaching them to associate wetsuit with food , then howling about vicious VB sharks eating swimmers , idiots

  12. Donald Vincent on January 27, 2023 at 4:45 am

They don’t like meals on wheels

  13. Vik on January 27, 2023 at 4:46 am

Dumbness answer ever, they don’t attack people on safaris due to calculated risk. This animals are APEX top of the food chain predators. If they don’t see a chance of success they will not attack. Is all about energy conservation, if they are hungry enough that’s a different ball game.

  14. BatCaveOz on January 27, 2023 at 4:47 am

When I was on safari in Kenya and Tanzania, we were taught that if you had to pee, one would jump out of the back and touch the vehicle with one hand while peeing.

At the time, I wasn’t sure how much of this was just having fun with the tourists… but I *always* touched the jeep!

  20. Anda tata on January 27, 2023 at 4:59 am

There is another reason, if the lion is not very hungry he prefers the meat of herbivores, the lion feels that we are not herbivores and that consequently the meat is not good

Funny stumbling onto this video roughly 3 months after going on one of these tours (Nov 2021), i was with my partner and our 6 year old on a safari vehicle inside the lion enclosure. We drove up to the male lion 1st and he was about 5 meters from the vehicle so that was ok until we drove further in and came within 2 meters of 4 female lions and they were HUGE, take it from me it is not worth the risk especially if you are in there with your child (which i was), even though nothing happened but i will never ever do it again, my son was literally 2 meters away from 4 lions, in an open safari vehicle. Looking back i feel like such a bad parent, no tour guide can ever convince me to do it again, if something went wrong in there we could have all been dead i promise you (tour guide included). I have a feeling their either feed those animals prior to tourists coming in or they inject them with something so they are lazy to attack but still for me definitely not worth the risk. If youtube allowed videos/pics on comments i would share, we were so close i could feel the breeze as the lions were exhaling, scary stuff.
